This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available. 

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

Our team supports the Game Shows Division. We work on Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, and any other property currently in development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our intern will help our team’s designers and editors execute social and digital asset creation for Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. This role is a combination of production design and graphic design. Must be able to deliver creative requests and assets with light supervision. Projects include but are not limited to emails, microsites, social content (e.g. GIFs, thumbnails), and banner ads. Must possess a solid understanding of traditional graphic design, plus static, video, and animated asset production, and best practices for social and digital assets.

In addition to a design background, our ideal candidate will also have some video editor and/or assistant editor capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Min. 1-2 years in social and/or digital environment

  • Proficient working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required

  • Agency and/or content studio experience is required

  • Great compositing skills, typography, color correction, and retouching required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • After Effects capabilities are a plus

  • PowerPoint and Keynote experience a plus

  • Broadcast media experience is a plus

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
