TheDirectorof Corporate Franchise Managementwill be akey resourcewithintheSPEteamworking to achieve those goalsand will betasked with maximizingtheconsumer connection and financial returns for SPE’s franchise portfolio through collaboration, strategic planning, holisticmarketingand brand stewardship.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:
Franchise Strategy and Development
Support the SVP of Corporate FranchiseManagementin developing multi-yearfranchise strategies and roadmaps for priority IPs.
Conduct franchise evaluations, research, and opportunity assessment to inform strategic planning.
Identifycross-divisional opportunities for growth and expansion, including content extensions, fan support, partnerships,monetization, and brand collaborations.
Partner with creative and business teams to ensure alignment between storytelling, marketing, and consumer engagement.
Supports the development of holistic programs tosteer year-roundfranchise fandom.
Cross-divisional Collaboration
Serve asliaisonbetween divisionsand partners(Motion Pictures Group, Sony Pictures Television,Sony Interactive Entertainment, Consumer Products and Corporate Strategy) to coordinate franchise initiatives andmaintaininformation flow.
Organize andfacilitatecross-functional meetings, communications, and reporting to ensure alignment across creative, marketing, and commercial stakeholders.
Track and manage enterprise-level franchise priorities, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
Insights, Research and Performance Tracking
Collaborate with Consumer Insightsand Datateams toconsolidateand interpret audience,business, and brandperformance.
Help develop andmaintainfranchise health dashboards and reports to track engagement, awareness, and business performance.
Contribute topresentations and briefingmaterials forsenior leadership and corporate stakeholders.
Brand and Creative Stewardship
Support the development and implementation of franchise brand guidelines and creative frameworks.
Partner with marketing and creative teamsto ensure brand consistencyacross consumer touchpoints.
Assistsin evaluating new creative concepts, storylines, and product extensions for brand fit and long-term franchise value.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degreerequired; MBA or advanced degreepreferred
10+years of experience inentertainment, gaming, or consumer products with a focus on brand,franchiseor IP management.
Provenexpertiseworking acrossdivisions or business units to drive alignment and deliver strategic initiatives.
Strong understanding of storytelling, marketing, audiencemanagement, and brand building.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret research, data, and market trends to inform strategy.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; able to work effectively with senior executives and creative talent.
Highly organized and exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiplepriorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degreerequired; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
