Our Emerging Talent Programs, which includes Interns, Trainees, and Finance Rotational Associates, offer unique opportunities for students, recent graduates, and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 30th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday in the specified location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university. A hybrid work structure may or may not be available. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilities Workspace Solutions Intern – Summer 2024
The department has launched an initiative to optimize furniture usage and placement on the lot. The intern will work closely with the department, inter-department staff, and the project's lead.

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Furniture Verification and Selection – Document all outdoor furniture to be replaced including verifying quantities and selecting options

• Furniture and Equipment Programming – Meet with a business unit representative to document furniture and equipment requirements

• Space Planning – Create missing furniture layout options for the conference center, verify existing furniture, and determine any shortfalls based on all layouts

• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Interior Design education or experience required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and an analytical skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Autocad

• Archibus

• Adobe suite of programs

• Ability to create space plans and other architectural documents

• Presentation document experience

The anticipated base salary for this position is $19/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
