The Senior Analyst is a key member of the Theatrical Marketing Analytics team, contributing to data-driven insights that support planning and execution for global marketing campaigns. This role contributes to a range of analytics initiatives, including campaign performance reporting, audience analysis, data visualization, and tool development via emerging technologies. It also requires a strong passion for movies and the theatrical experience, along with the ability to apply data and analytical thinking to a creative, audience-driven business, providing actionable insights that inform critical studio decisions. A strong foundation of technical skills, comfort with large data sets, knowledge of the shifting digital landscape, and a command of marketing concepts is necessary to contribute immediately to the team.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insight
• Conduct analyses that support theatrical marketing strategy. Includes audience identification/evaluation, social listening, campaign performance measurement, creative messaging refinement, and competitive analysis.
• Synthesize data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights and business recommendations.
• Partner with Marketing, Research, Media, Digital and Data Science teams to support campaign strategy and answer key business questions.
Data Management & Quality Control
• Gather, clean, validate, and maintain marketing datasets from internal and external sources.
• Perform quality control on data feeds, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of reporting.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of data pipelines and reporting processes.
Reporting, Data Visualization, & Innovation
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualization tools that provide timely marketing insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve analytics workflows through automation, AI-enabled tools, and emerging technologies.
• Use AI and LLM tools to expedite analysis, synthesize large volumes of information, improve reporting efficiency, and support faster development of insights, while maintaining strong judgment, accuracy, and data quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with internal teams, external vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to support analytics initiatives and reporting needs.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of best practices across the team.
• Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
• Passion for movies, marketing, audience behavior, and the role of data in shaping creative marketing strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, digital analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Ability to apply analytical thinking within a creative business context, including interpreting data through the lens of film genres, audience segments, campaign assets, cultural conversation, and competitive positioning.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, including large language models, and an interest in using them responsibly to improve speed, efficiency, and quality of analysis
• Experience with social listening platforms (Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Meltwater, Sprinklr, or similar) is a plus.
• Understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and marketing performance metrics.
• Experience working with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is required.
• Familiarity with Python or other analytical programming languages is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
