Sony Pictures Television International Production’s new Digital Studio is here to shape the future of entertainment—developing creator-first, platform-native original content for digital audiences. The newly launched UK-based Digital Studio will create YouTube series, partnerships with creators, podcasts, and branded content that’s bold, audience-first, and tailored to how people really watch.

We’re looking for a highly organised and creative Producer / Production Manager to play a vital role in bringing our digital content to life. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, from pre-production planning and budgeting to on-set execution and post-production delivery.
Working closely with the Creative Director and reporting to the Head of Production & Operations, you will ensure that our content is produced to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
What You’ll Do:
Production:
- Manage all phases of production, including pre-production, production, and post-production
- Develop and manage production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Oversee location scouting, crew hiring, and equipment rentals.
- Ensure all productions adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure all productions are produced and delivered to a high standard, on schedule, and within budget
- Support the Head of Production in managing the end-to-end production processes & enforcing in-house processes
- Oversee & manage post-production schedules and resources
- Sourcing and contracting crew, suppliers, contributors and talent
Creative Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Creative Director to understand their creative vision and translate it into actionable production plans.
- Collaborate with writers, directors, and other creative personnel to help develop compelling content.
- Provide creative input and problem-solving solutions throughout the production process.
- Produce content with an eye toward its potential for distribution on streaming, FAST, and other VOD platforms.
Production Accounting:
- Manage production budgets and cost managers, track expenses, and work closely with finance teams to ensure cost-effective delivery
- Process invoices and payments to vendors and crew members.
- Support the Head of Production in preparing production cost reports and financial summaries.
YouTube Expertise:
- Apply a deep understanding of YouTube best practices to optimise content for the platform.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and features on YouTube.
Creator Relationships:
- Leverage existing relationships with top UK creators and develop new partnerships.
- Manage talent contracts and ensure smooth collaboration with creators.
What You’ll Bring (Required Skills and Qualifications):
- At least 3 years of experience as a Producer or Production Manager in digital content production, TV, Commercials, or Branded Content, either for an independent production company, agency, or publisher.
- Experienced in sourcing and contracting crew independently, with strong negotiation skills to deliver high-quality results within budget.
- A strong understanding of production accounting principles and practices.
- Extensive knowledge of post-production workflows and processes.
- Experience producing best-in-class YouTube creator content
- Deep understanding of the YouTube platform and its audience.
- Excellent relationships with UK-based digital content creators, suppliers, and crew
- A passion for creating content that resonates with digital audiences and has the potential to be "streamer-ready."
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- A network of contacts in the UK digital content creation industry.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in TV production is a strong advantage
- Experience working with high-profile creators and managing creator-led content.
- Familiarity with various video production equipment and software.
