This position reports to the People & Organisation Director for France, Iberia, Italy & Belgium and supports our two French entities: the Motion Picture division based in Paris and the Television & Home Entertainment division based in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
As the Payroll & HR Executive, you are responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant and timely HR administration and payroll data for all employees across the two divisions, in close collaboration with our external payroll provider. You also contribute to operational HR support and provide transversal administrative assistance to the teams.

Finance and HR teams of the two divisions
Global Finance Operations (GFO) department in Poland
HR and Security, Safety & Sustainability (S3) teams within the EMEA regional hub in London
Main Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management (Outsourced with SVP)
Collect, verify and transmit monthly payroll variables to the payroll provider
Perform checks on payslips issued by the provider
Verify social charges and perform payroll-related calculations (retirement, termination payments, etc.) in coordination with the payroll provider
Ensure the delivery of accounting reports (journal entries, contribution statements) to the Global Finance Operations (GFO) department in Poland
Act as the main point of contact for employees on payroll-related matters
2. HR Administration
Manage hiring and termination formalities, including employment contracts, administrative declarations, medical visits, meal vouchers, employment certificates and end-of-contract documentation
Ensure HR welcomes and onboards new joiners, including contract preparation, internal documentation and coordination with the IT department
Prepare and update employee files (contract amendments, changes in status, etc.)
Create or update employee records in internal systems (ARIBA)
Monitor absences and coordinate data updates in internal tools, including Workday HRIS and eDays time-tracking system
Manage medical appointments and oversee the administration of health insurance, life insurance and statutory portabilities
Act as the first point of contact for employees’ HR-related queries
Contribute to legal and social compliance monitoring
3. Operational HR Support
Support the HR Director on transversal topics such as internal communications, prevention campaigns and follow-up of annual interviews
Lead regular updates of the DUERP
Manage training administration, including registrations with training bodies, coordination with the OPCO and funding requests
Produce HR indicators and reporting as required (headcount dashboards, absence tracking, social indicators)
Support data preparation for salary review campaigns
Act as the local point of contact for the S3 EMEA team (Security, Safety & Sustainability) by relaying group communications and coordinating the annual Injury Report
Participate in One Sony meetings to foster collaboration and create common events across entities
4. Administrative and Accounting Support
Ensure correct supplier creation in the system (GRAPHITE) and monitor invoice payments for assigned service providers
Provide occasional support to Finance teams (Accounting, Stat & Tax) for audits and statutory documentation
Monitor payments and declarations of social contributions to the relevant bodies
Manage exempt purchase orders
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong command of payroll and HR administration fundamentals, ideally acquired in an outsourced payroll environment, with the ability to ensure reliable and accurate data
Good knowledge of labour law and legal obligations related to payroll, employment contracts and time management
High level of reliability, rigor and attention to detail, ensuring secure, compliant and accurate HR data
Strong service orientation and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, manage urgencies and support employees professionally
Proactive mindset with the ability to improve and strengthen HR and payroll processes
Strong team spirit and collaboration skills, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and departments in a matrix environment
Ease with digital tools and systems, including HRIS, time management systems, ERP and ChatGPT for Work
High level of discretion, ethics and strict confidentiality regarding HR records
Proficiency in English is required
