We are looking for a highly creative, digitally savvy, and culturally connected Social Media & Digital Graphic Designer to support Sony Pictures Entertainment’s social media and digital marketing initiatives across Latin America.
This role is ideal for a designer who deeply understands social media culture, platform behavior, and digital storytelling. The ideal candidate knows how to design content specifically for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, understanding the creative nuances, audience expectations, formats, and algorithms that drive performance on each platform.
The role requires someone who can balance creativity with speed while maintaining high-quality visual standards across multiple brands and campaigns.
The designer will support social media campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, branded content, promotional launches, and audience engagement strategies across Sony Pictures Entertainment’s portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Social Media or Digital Designer in entertainment, streaming, media, or premium lifestyle brands
- Proven experience creating and designing campaigns for entertainment brands across social media platforms, demonstrated through a strong portfolio of digital-first and platform-native creative work
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platform ecosystems, including formats, algorithms, audience behaviors, and engagement strategies
- Strong understanding of what drives viral content, audience interaction, and social engagement across platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- Experience creating social-first content including reels, short-form video assets, thumbnails, stories, carousels, memes, GIFs, and branded social campaigns
- Strong design, typography, layout, motion, and visual storytelling skills
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and openness to integrating emerging technologies into creative workflows
- Strong understanding of entertainment marketing, digital culture, internet trends, and audience behaviors across LATAM
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
- This position requires fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English
Nice to Have
- Motion graphics and animation skills
- Experience editing short-form social media videos
- Experience working with content creators, influencers, or social-first campaigns
- Understanding of paid media creative best practices and performance marketing
- Experience adapting global entertainment campaigns for regional LATAM audiences
- Familiarity with AI tools for image generation, editing, ideation, and content optimization
