Are you passionate about the world of anime and content distribution? Sony Pictures Entertainment Korea is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Sales Assistant Manager to join our Distribution Team. If you have a strong background in anime content distribution, licensing, and revenue management and excellent communication skills - we want to hear from you!
What you will do:
Develop and execute distribution strategies across VOD, SVOD, and linear platforms, in collaboration with various partners.
Manage content licensing processes, including obtaining internal approvals following platform and contractual agreements.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, negotiate and secure contracts.
Analyze sales data to monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, and develop revenue-enhancement strategies.
Collaborate with marketing teams to plan, implement, and assess campaigns aimed at increasing sales performance.
What you need:
2-3+ years of experience in contents distribution, operations, or sales/acquisition.
Prior experience in Japanese anime distribution preferred.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and create data-driven strategies for revenue growth.
Passionate about and well-versed in the content industry.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Fluency in English or other foreign languages.
Extensive knowledge of VOD platforms and content-related business operations.
Please note that this role is based in South Korea. In order to enable us to meet statutory and regulatory obligations of the South Korean immigration system you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work and reside in South Korea for the duration of the employment.
Please note this is a 1-year contract position.
